Wuthering Waves has been confirmed for Xbox Series X|S, with a release window of July 2026.
The confirmation came during Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview on March 26, 2026, according to the source material. The same source says the game will support Xbox Play Anywhere, which connects play across Xbox consoles and PC within Microsoft’s ecosystem.
What was announced
The source states that Kuro Games’ free-to-play action RPG is being developed for Xbox Series X|S and will launch in July 2026. It also says Xbox Game Pass players will receive exclusive perks.
Windows Central’s source description says the announcement followed months of speculation and brings the game to the Xbox ecosystem with cloud and PC support.

The source text also lists the game’s earlier platform releases. It says Wuthering Waves entered open beta on Android, iOS, and Microsoft Windows on May 23, 2024, then released on PlayStation 5 in January 2025 and on macOS in March 2025.
Based on that timeline, the Xbox version adds another major platform release for the game in 2026.
